Keynotes have to be the biggest untold secret of REVIT. With these CADclips you
will learn keynotes with so much detail it scares me !

Here are the basic steps:
1. Get to know the 16 divisions of the RevitKeynotes_Imperial.txt file.
2. Make a copy of this file and modify it as required.
3. Associate all your object types, materials and families to this file.
4. Perhaps save them in a template file.
5. Start labeling
Also included is a copy of the finished RVT file used in the process and the "DG RevitKeynotes_Imperial.TXT" file that was used and modified.

TIP
Unfortunately Autodesk has not made the process of modifying the RevitKeynotes_Imperial.txt file on the fly very fluid.
There is no ‘re-read’ or ‘reinitialize’ button.
To edit and then re-read the RevitKeynotes_Imperial.txt file on the fly do the following:
a) Open the RevitKeynotes_Imperial.txt file in notepad.
b) Make changes and save the file. (leave it open if you want)
c) In REVIT point and path to a different keynotes file.
d) Close the dialog box.
d) Point back to your modified path and file.
